I recently received the Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Smoothing Eye Cream from Influenster complimentary to review. I have used this brand in the past and have liked the products I have tried, therefore, I was very excited to be selected to review this eye cream. Shiseido states that this anti-aging eye cream “hydrates and visibly corrects wrinkles in just one week.” Therefore, I tried it for ten days before reviewing it to see if I saw a difference.

In the morning and evening, I applied this cream diligently twice a day. The texture was a medium density–not too thick or thin. When you apply it, it does not feel like the cream completely absorbs into the skin. It feels like some of it is absorbed, but also as if some of it remains on the surface. As a result, it leaves your eye area feeling very hydrated–not just the moment the eye cream touches your skin, but also throughout the day. It leaves kind of a dewy look, which I love because it reduces the look of wrinkles.

When I apply the cream it feels like my eye area is nourished and hydrated. But the best thing about it is that all of the wrinkles surrounding my eye area–where I applied it–were a little smoother and less visible. I could see it close up, but it was not very visible on a photo since you had to look extremely close to see a difference.

Overall, I love it! I saw smoothness on my eye area and it felt hydrated all day. I am very happy with the results I have had so far and how my eye area feels after using this eye cream. I hope that with continued use I will continue to see less of my eye area wrinkles.

Also, a little goes a long way. You do not need to apply a lot, therefore, one container should last a good amount of time. Speaking of the container–it is one of the most elegant and beautiful eye cream containers I have seen!
